TWOTHIRDS started with a vision: to create sustainable clothing that reflects a deep respect for the ocean, building an online community as vast and connected as the seas themselves.

With a focus on the digital-only presence, every resource was directed toward crafting an online experience that echoed their commitment to sustainability and high-quality design.

TWOTHIRDS required a robust e-commerce platform capable of scaling rapidly with their growth. UNTWIST, as an ongoing technical partner involved from the initial setup on the Shopify platform, and was pivotal in facilitating this digital transition and enabling sustainable growth.

1. Migration to Shopify

Choosing Shopify meant that we were able to manage the online store with a smaller team, as we got covered aspects like hosting, server security, and high performance demands during peak seasons. It also meant we’ll benefit from all the platform technical advancements, as well of the whole Shopify eco-system of apps, integrations, and expertise.

2. Technical explorations

TWOTHIRDS leveraged our technical and e-commerce expertise for their critical technical decisions. We helped research available options and decide upon the optimal technical strategies. The collaboration with UNTWIST meant having a trustworthy partner that will help  them make the optimal decision, save cost in the long-run, and stay on top of their e-commerce game.

3. Custom Shopify theme

Building a bespoke theme was a strategical choice, even if it was a substantial initial investment.  It helped TWOTHIRDS communicate effectively their commitment to the ocean and sustainable fashion through a compelling visual storytelling. The theme offered a high degree of flexibility and withstand few site-wide redesigns to keep up with business and brand demands.

4. Continuous website optimisation

Committed to continuous improvements, TWOTHIRDS was looking to improve store’s performance, increase the conversion rate, and eliminate all major customer friction points.

UNTWIST played a crucial role in the growth and optimisation process, offering strategical and tactical advice, analysing store data and user behaviour, a/b testing hypothesis, and executing the implementation.

5. International markets

Reaching a global community in a sustainable way was always a priority for TWOTHIRDS.We helped set up international Shopify markets, implement country specific messaging and offers across the website, as well as enable extra languages to offer a better experience for our European markets.

6. Selling wholesale

As TWOTHIRDS ventured in uncharted waters with B2B, we prepared a wholesale storefront utilising Shopify native wholesale functionality.

7. Email marketing automations

Leveraging the power of Klaviyo and flow automations, TWOTHIRDS have been able to generate 50% more revenue through targeted flows.
